Fees Interest

The fee interest processes are how MO calculates interest and adjusts this amount on Galileo. The two ways MO does this are based on the interest amount or on the fee amount, both are presented below.

Interest process

To adjust the OTB by the amount of interest, the steps are the following:

1. MO Credit Card Core calculates interest at the closing date.
2. MO Credit Card Core hits Galileo's Create Adjustment endpoint to reduce OTB by the interest amount.
3. Galileo reduces OTB by the amount of the interest to be paid by the cardholder.

Fees process

To adjust the OTB by the fee amount, the steps are the following:

1. MO Credit Card Core calculates interest at the closing date.
2. MO Credit Card Core hits Galileo's Asses Fee endpoint to reduce OTB by the fee amount.
3. Galileo reduces OTB by the amount of the fee to be paid by the cardholder.
